Trish White was born in Queensland and educated at the University of Queensland and University of South Australia. She holds degrees in Engineering and Arts.
Other Information
Ms White worked for nine years as an electronics engineer, and prior to being elected to Parliament worked at the Defence Science and Technology Organisation where she specialised in communications networks.

Trish has two sons and a daughter.

Retention of the prefix title Honourable was granted by Her Excellency the Governor on 25 May 2005 in the Govt Gazette of 2 June 2005.
