A Joint Committee of the South Australian Parliament has been established to inquire into and report on the Social workers Registration Bill 2018.

The purpose of this Bill is make provision for the registration of social workers and to establish the social workers registration board with powers to investigate complaints and enforce penalties for practitioners who breach those competency and ethical standards.
