On Friday 24 June 2022, of its own motion, the Crime and Public Integrity Policy Committee (the ‘Committee’) resolved to inquire into and report on the matters set out in the Terms of Reference below.

Terms of Reference

The Committee is to inquire into and consider the operation of the Police Complaints and Discipline Act 2016.

The Committee may further inquire into and consider any other relevant matter as the Committee sees fit, however the Committee is not authorised to:

  • investigate a matter relating to particular conduct; or
  • reconsider a decision of any person or body in relation to a particular matter.
