The most common illicit drug used was cannabis, followed by ecstasy and pain killers/
analgesics (for non-medical purposes).

To assist the treatment of epilepsy in children, a pilot will be established to trial
the use of medicinal cannabis.

Compassionate access to the medicine will be provided for children who are not
responding to other treatment options.
